ROMANY was found in December, abandoned, starved and unable to walk.  So sweet, even near death, she won hearts and inspired many people to give her a hand.  We received a photo of a black stick-dog, no idea of her breed, just a precious skinny dog fighting for her life.

She received excellent care and by the time she reached us, although still thin and hungry, she could walk, run, and play. 

All BTW puppies adore Romany.  She plays kindly with the pups, like an athlete with adult dogs.  She's fast and agile and when she plays with her bucket or giant ball, everybody stops to watch the show.  She could be perfectly content as an only dog -- as long as she has a big toy and is lavished with love by her humans.  She'd also do well with a strong friendly playpal.

We don't expect big interest in Romany because of her breed mix.  In fact, like the puppies, I adore her, and have been reluctant to put her on the website.  But she is a dear love and would thrive as a member of the family in her very own home.
