SHEBA bears the classic elegance of the pure German Shepherd in a manner that has prompted some to suggest "royal" lineage. Nevertheless, just like the many precious "Mutts" we have here, she wound up in the shelter, scared and insecure and sad. Sheba was terribly thin, even for a Shepherd, and couldn't seem to gain weight until the vet discovered that, common to Shepherds, she just needs pancreatic enzymes! That simple powdered supplement in her food has helped her reach healthy weight and she feels much better, too.

On arrival, Sheba was emotionally needy and stuck very close. Now, she's out exploring in the sunshine with her good friend, Moses. She still loves to sleep under the bed at night, and never ventures out of voice range, but her courage has risen!

If you're ready for unconditional friendship and adoration, no need to read the "Personals." Sheba came to Earth to give and receive love -- and maybe chase an occasional rabbit. Or not. She has asked for a family who will spend lots of time with her -- someone who is retired or works at home, perhaps. She'll watch over you, give early warning of folks approaching your gate, and cherish you with her royal heart for as long as it beats.
